THE ARMY Women put on a dominant performance as they beat the Navy in the first women’s Inter Services match played at Twickenham.
In sunny south-west London in front of a healthy crowd the Army were dominant from the off. Player of the match Sally Scott scored the first try of the afternoon just six minutes in as she bundled over from close range.
The Army’s lead was enhanced when Louise Dodd hit a great line through the midfield and stepped the covering full-back Chloe Sopp to score under the posts.
