FORMER England prop Mako Vunipola, 35, was planning to retire at the end of last season before former England and Lions teammate Geoff Parling changed his mind and asked him to join Leicester.
Vunipola said: “I was pretty set on retiring. Then in
January I had a conversation with Geoff... he asked if I’d like to come and see if I can add value here at Leicester. The conversation was really positive, and not just myself but for my family as well. My wife was a big part of the decision to come back to England.”
