Luctonians will begin the new National Two West campaign with unfinished business after coming agonisingly close to breaking into National One last season.
George Thomas’ side produced an outstanding campaign, winning 20 of their 26 matches and collecting 103 points, but champions Camborne proved even stronger with 22 victories and 113 points.
The title was finally secured when Camborne collected the two bonus points they required despite losing 41-34 at Mortimer Park in April, leaving Luctonians to take their chance through the new promotion play-offs.
