Scarlets sign lock Groves

SCARLETS have signed second row Alex Groves from Stormers. Former England U20s Grand Slam-winner Groves, 25, who played twice for Scarlets this season, has also played for Bristol, Sale and Western ern Province.
The 6ft 9in Groves, right, said: “I’m really excited to be joining the Scarlets permanently. Having had the opportunity to spend time with the club on loan earlier this season, I got a real feel for the environment, the people and the ambitions here, which made it an easy decision.
