Laulala banned for tackle

GLOUCESTER prop Nepo Laulala has been banned for a minimum of two matches for a dangerous tackle. The 34-year-old was cited after video reviews showed he had made contact on Bristol prop Scott Kirk’s head with his shoulder in the Prem Cup match on September 19 at Kingsholm.
Laulala was not sanctioned during the game.
He will miss the Prem game against Harlequins on Saturday and the Champions Cup fixture with Castres the following weekend. Should he complete a coaching intervention course he will be available for the trip to Munster on December 13.
