Christian Wade will have another chance to overtake Chris Ashton as the Premiership’s leading try scorer after agreeing to join Newcastle Red Bulls in December when he leaves Super League champions Wigan Warriors.

Christian Wade will have another chance to overtake Chris Ashton as the Premiership’s leading try scorer after agreeing to join Newcastle Red Bulls in December when he leaves Super League champions Wigan Warriors.
Wade, 34, crossed codes from Gloucester at the end of last season having scored 11 tries in 14 games for the Cherry & Whites – taking him to 93, second on the list behind Ashton on 101.
Wade, below, has made two appearances for Wigan and scored tries in both.
He scored 82 tries for Wasps before taking up American Football with the Buffalo Bills in 2019, switching back to rugby ...
