CHEW Valley cut the gap at the top of the league by overcoming pacesetters Camborne 18-14.
Despite going seven points down, the hosts took an 8-7 lead into halftime thanks to a lineout drive that created a try for hooker Jack Monk, plus a Tom Bryan penalty. The full-back extended the lead after the break before a Camborne try edged the visitors ahead 14-11.
