Calum Irvine, Adam Malthouse, Gavin Stead, Ben Waddington, Finn Dewar with two, Will Burns and Struan Connor were the tryscorers for the home side. There was also a penalty in the closing seconds with Joe Rowntree adding five conversions. Matt Probert scored for the visitors.

Second-place took maximum points in a 15-try annihilation of Kirkby Lonsdale 99-0.

Matt Lamprey led the charge with five tries followed by Jordan Dorrington three , Tyler Spence two with Declan Norrington, Sam Stott, Alex Taylorson, Ben Dorrington and Toby Harris in for one each.

Wirral overcame a sterling effort by bottom club Northwich to take the honours 17-0 through tries from Chris Crowley, Jonny Carroll and George Burrows with Ben Brookes adding one conversion.

Lymm were 21-27 victors away to Macclesfield in the Cheshire derby. Nathan Beesley with two, Steve Pilkington and Joe Senior were try scorers for the visitors with Cormack Nolan slotting three conversions. Macclesfield replied with tries from Lloyd Smith Cotes and Peter Milne, Harry Oliver landing one conversion and three penalties.

Burnage went down 31-41 at home to Alnwick. Adam Taher, Alex Evans and Josh Millar with two were the home tryscorers, all converted by Grant Connon who also kicked a penalty. Alnwick scored through Duncan Smith, Harry Todd, Ben Gothorp, Matt Gray, Alex Yoda and Alan Robson, with two.

Billingham just edged it 21-22 away to York. Ben Walton with two and Martin Hopley were tryscorers for the visitors.

Sandal and Blackburn drew 26-26. James Ellar, Joe Allott and Austin Thompson crossed for the home side. Greg Wood landed three penalties and Jake Adam one conversion. Liam Simpson, Josh Jarrold, Scott Richardson and Cory Logan went in for the visitors with Paddy Gaffey adding the goals.
