Rowntree’s boot keeps Otley top

LEADERS Otley just edged it over Sandal 8-9 . The Wakefield side were the only tryscorers, with Jack Handley claiming the honours to add to a Jake Adams penalty. But Otley had to rely in the boot of Joe Rowntree landing three penalties.
Billingham knocked a point off the Otley lead following an 80-7 thrashing of Northwich. Anthony Jackson and Luke Wilson bagged hat-tricks. Keiron Clark, Ben Walton, Mike Walton, Peter Evans.
Martin Hopley and John Padley were the other try scorers with Jobe Roxby slotting ten conversions .
