Sheffield knocked off top by rivals

LEADERS Sheffield suffered their second defeat of the season against Scunthorpe, throwing a tight division wide open.
The sides did battle on a blustery afternoon with Steve Depledge going over for the opening try, before also gaining a penalty as his side led 10-7 into the half-time break.
However, Scunthorpe have title hopes themselves and, after Oli Cole’s first-half try, Al Fagan ran over for the winning score, which was converted by Tom Alldridge to give his side a narrow 14-10 victory.
