TWO first-half tries were enough for London & SW Premier side Wimbledon to secure the win against a lacklustre Barnes on Friday.
This south-west London derby started off at a frenetic pace and a brief scuffle early on added more bite to the fixture.
It seemed to inspire the home side a little more than the visitors and Wimbledon’s first score came from Leighton Bellamore as he sliced through the porous Barnes midfield.
