A YOUNG Barnes RFC emerged victorious in their first run out of preseason against a spirited Maidenhead side on Friday night, winning by six tries to one.
On the 4G pitch at Chiswick RFC and in terrible weather conditions, both teams played some expressive rugby but it was the Barnes forwards who set the tone for the win with an impressive display.
