Ystrad in charge after win over big rivals

YSTRAD Rhondda took control of the One East Central title race with a 29-18 victory over rivals Glamorgan Wanderers.
Rhys Truelove inspired Ystrad with a try, penalty and three conversions. Aaron Clarke, Derwyn Coleman and Cole Swanack added further tries.
The Wanderers hit back through Cameron Gibbons and Philip Hero while Luke Fish kicked eight points but they couldn’t prevent a second consecutive defeat to Ystrad, who now lead the table by four points.
In One North, Nant Conwy edged closer to the league title with a 43-13 win over Ruthin.
