Hamer stars as Gowerton close gap in West

GOWERTON moved into second place in One West with a 30-3 victory over struggling Tycroes.
Josh Hamer scored twice and added ten points from the tee while Rob John and Dan Jones went over to claim maximum points.
They now sit just two points behind leaders Felinfoel, who weren’t in action, but have played four games more.
Dunvant, relegated from the Championship last season, lost ground in the race for the title as they were beaten 31-28 by Llangennech.
They are now six points adrift of the leaders.
