Nerveless Lennon’s boot puts Nant into last four

FORMER beaten finalists Nant Conwy remain on course to reach another Plate final after edging out Maesteg Quins 23-22 to reach the semi-finals.
Carwyn ap Myrddin and Carwyn Roberts scored for Nant, runners-up to Penallta in 2012. Both tries were converted by Arthur Lennon, who also added three penalties.
Lewis Tutt, Rhodri Davies and a penalty try were on the scoresheet for the Quins, who outscored the hosts three tries to two.
Davies also added five points from the tee.
Brynmawr are into the last four, beating Glamorgan Wanderers 35-19.
