Brummies looking good at the summit

BIRMINGHAM & Solihull cemented their spot at the top of the Midlands Premier with a convincing 29-3 win over Newbold-on- Avon away from home.
Newbold opened up the scoring with a penalty after three minutes, but that did not stop the rampant Brummies, with Steve Johns and Zane Raimondi running in two tries in the first half.
Johns notched his second score after the restart, with Jevan Hinds and Ben Phillips both touching down, with Max Rodman and Jack Jolley scoring a conversion each.
