Four-try Jamie ends year on a high

THERE was end-of-year cheer for Jamie Jeune as his four-try salvo helped maintain Pontypool’s perfect National Championship record this season.
Pooler were looking to round off the year with a 13th consecutive league victory and it proved to be a lucky day for Jeune, who bagged all four tries in a 26-3 win over Newbridge.
Narberth stayed 14 points behind Pontypool as they beat Newcastle Emlyn 26-13. Alex Jenkins, Tom Powell, Jack Parkinson and Liam Hutchins ensured Narberth took a bonus point with Jonathan Rogers kicking the rest.
