PONTYPRIDD made it 11 wins from their last 12 Principality Premiership games with a gritty 29-20 win over Bedwas at Sardis Road.
The hosts made the perfect start with a try from wing Lewis Williams but Bedwas fly-half Steffan Jones hit back instantly with a well-executed penalty.
Ponty fly-half Ceri Sweeney touched down soon after to extend the hosts’ lead and he dusted himself down to add a conversion.
