A Lion-size mistake

NO shortage of British and Irish players have been rendered hors de combat in South Africa over the years for going in where it hurts and paying the consequences. Scott Baldwin is the first to suffer for putting his hand in a lion’s cage.
The bite was bad enough for Ospreys’ Wales hooker to be detained in hospital overnight when he ought to have been grappling with the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein. He has nobody to blame but himself for being the first non-Lion to return from South Africa in sheepish clothing.
