MATTHEW Jones scored18 points as reigning champions Pontypool made it four wins in a row with a 55-24 win at Bedlinog.
The former Wales outside half scored one of his side’s eight tries as they stayed clear of the chasing pack at the top of the Championship.
They were 31-10 ahead at the break, but then saw the gap cut to 14 points when the gallant home side ran in two tries.
