BRIDGEND almost timed their second-half revival to perfection, but ultimately fell short in a narrow defeat at Carmarthen Quins.
The Quins, who made it two wins in a row at The Park after three successive away games, were thankful in the end for the trusty boot of Scarlets outside half Dan Jones, who helped himself to 13 points.
His two penalties in succession in the final quarter gave his side enough breathing space to hold on for a hard-fought triumph.
