Cruse launches Wasps’ comeback

WASPS completed their pre-season with a victory over Connacht, but it took a rousing comeback to claim the win.
The Men in Black trailed 19-5 near the hour but five tries saw them home against the Irish province.
Connacht opened a 12-0 lead after only 12 minutes after tries from Tom McCartney and Rory Scholes but Wasps managed to hit back as Guy Thompson barged his way over in the corner.
But that was it for the first half with last year’s Premiership finalist going into the interval seven points adrift.
