Melbourne Rebels sign Irish prop Hagan

Super Rugby side Melbourne Rebels have made their second signing of the week by recruiting Irish prop Jamie Hagan.
The 28 year-old has made over 100 appearances for northern hemisphere clubs but makes the moves Down Under on a two-year contract, to join up with former Munster head coach Tony McGahan.
On making the saying McGahan said, “to be able to bring a front row player into the team with 100 caps at the professional level is a real positive for the improvement of the squad.”
While the player himself added, “growing up in Ireland, I have always watched on a Saturday morning and it has always fascinated me.”
Formerly of , Connacht and London Irish, Hagan made one appearance for Ireland in 2013 when called up by Interim boss Les Kiss for a tour match against the USA, and joins All Black Adam Thomson in the move to Melbourne.
