I used to love playing against Italy. Nine tries in nine games! But I also never forget that there were only seven wins in that sequence. There was also a two-year period when Wales didn’t beat them.
I experienced an 18-18 draw in Cardiff in 2006 and then a 23-20 defeat in Rome a year later. We felt a bit hard done by in 2007 because Chris White called time after assuring us we still had 10 seconds left to play.
