Steve Borthwick has had the guts, and the gumption, to state that the RFU’s ban on selecting England players based outside the Premiership has to be changed urgently.
The England head coach argues that he wants the capacity to pick the strongest Red Rose team available, including those who choose to leave the Premiership to take up more lucrative contracts with clubs overseas.
