Azema is on his way back to Perpignan

Franck Azema is to end his coaching partnership with Pierre Mignoni at Toulon after just one season to return to his former stomping ground at Perpignan – whichever division they are in – in the latest move on French rugby’s managerial merry-go-round.
Toulon president Bernard Lemaitre this week agreed to release Azema from the rest of his contract, which had been due to run to 2026, so he could rejoin the club he had graced as a player in the early 1990s, and then as a coach in the first part of the century – winning the Top 14 title in 2009.
