I’ll be honest, I’m as surprised as anyone by what we’ve seen from England over the last two weeks.
Twelve wins on the trot, victories over serious Tier 1 nations, momentum building, belief growing, and then suddenly back-to-back performances that couldn’t have been more unrecognisable from the side we’d been praising.
But while the noise has inevitably cranked up, I’m already hearing people calling for Steve Borthwick’s head and I think that’s completely ridiculous.
