Luke Pearce, the most enterprising official in the sport as well as the most accomplished, will run next month’s New Zealand-France game in Christchurch – quite the honour, given that the fixture marks the dawning of the Nations Championship era – while Hollie Davidson has been handed control of Fiji’s “home” match with England in… er…Liverpool.
