Doesn’t 10 years disappear in a flash. Ten years ago this week England were completing a 3-0 series win in Australia which I’ve always thought to be their best achievement since 2003 and that includes reaching two further World Cup finals, in 2007 and 2019.
It was probably also Eddie Jones’ finest and most poignant moment as a coach although frankly he was on fire around this time. There was plenty to choose from.
Just nine months earlier he had masterminded Japan’s famous World Cup win over South Africa at Brighton and with three victories in their pool the Cherry Blossoms were a tad unluc...
