And breathe! In the blink of an eye, we are 60 per cent through the 2026 Six Nations, and we are coming to the end almost before we have really started.

Just two rounds and six matches to go. It’s been helter-skelter with little time to absorb and savour, let alone analyse and debate. Onward ever onwards.
It’s like covering the Tour de France when an epic stage gives you enough stories for a month… except at 10am the next morning, it all starts again and what you think is the subject de jour becomes yesterday’s news only to be discussed at a later stage, or maybe never.
