Touts were reportedly asking €1,000 for a ticket outside the Aviva yesterday morning ahead of kick off and frankly, by the end of the day, many would consider that a bargain.
Top of the table shootout; world No 1 v No 2; Grand Slam champions v nearest contender. Such contests have a nasty habit of falling flat with unreal expectations and an overdose of nerves spoiling the party. But not this game. This was as good as it gets, sport par excellence, feisty tournament rugby of a very high order indeed.
