Nick Cain: At last! Bath vs Bristol lived up to all the Premiership hype

The Premiership finally lived up to the overblown hype pumped out about it when Bath and Bristol produced a genuinely competitive hammer-and-tongs playoff semi-final at the Rec on Friday night.
Bath had to earn their 34-20 win with a storming second-half after being outplayed in the first half by a Bristol side which had a 13-6 half-time lead thanks to a belated understanding that offensive-defence, in which Benhard Janse van Rensburg and Ellis Genge were prominent, is a powerful weapon.
