WRU’s new hotel is kick in teeth to regions | Shane Williams

THE WELSH Rugby Union unveiled their latest new toy this week – The Parkgate Hotel which will be opening on Westgate Street in time for the autumn series.
It has caused plenty of angst among Welsh rugby supporters. I can totally understand why fans of the game in our country are frustrated at the WRU spending tens of millions on a new hotel venture when the four regions and the grassroots game are struggling so badly financially.
