Unsung hero Pullin deserves a statue at Twickenham

I WAS reading an article on line the other day about the illustrious British and Irish players with the best records against the All Blacks in all matches.
There was Fran Cotton and Derek Quinnell on four wins apiece followed by Willie John and Mike Gibson on three wins and two draws. Meanwhile on three wins and one draw we have JPR Williams, Gareth Edwards, Johnny Sexton,
Mako Vunipola and Owen Farrell but, not for the first time, such a list managed to overlook the leader of the pack, England’s very own John Pullin, who seems destined to be forever an unsung hero.
