Georgia will progress with Currie Cup invitation

GEORGIA have given up expecting any help from the Six Nations but South Africa are proving staunch allies.
This week the two nations signed an 11-year alliance which will see a Georgian Clubs XV compete in the Currie Cup every season.
It is anticipated that the Lelos will put together a select squad drawn from their domestic league which will base itself in South Africa for a couple of months for the duration of the Currie Cup rather in the way that Argentina have fielded a Pampas XV over the years and how Fijian Dura participate in the Australian club championships.
