Boris Stankovich and Jake Abbott banned after LV Cup

Boris Stankovich and Jake Abbott have been banned for three and two weeks respectively tonight after being cited following the first two rounds of the LV Cup.
Leicester prop Stankovich was sent off following an alleged dangerous tackle on London Irish scrum-half Darren Allinson last Sunday but was also cited after the game by citing officer Micky Ward for allegedly stamping or trampling on England prop Alex Corbisiero in the same game.
He pleaded guilty to both counts at the disciplinary hearing held in Coventry and will be allowed to play again on December 12.
Meanwhile, Worcester‘s flanker Abbott was cited for an alleged tip tackle on Scarlets‘ Kieran Murphy when the teams met back on November 10 for the opening round of the competition.
He also pleaded guilty to the charges and will be able to play again on December 5.
