BRUCE Craig, Bath’s co-owner with 50 per cent shareholder Sir James Dyson, suffers from a severe case of Premiership tunnel-vision. This was highlighted recently when Craig lavished praise on all the investors who have plugged some of the ringfenced Prem’s self-inflicted debt holes with wads of cash.
Along with Dyson, he mentioned Newcastle’s new owners, Red Bull, as well as Exeter’s latest backers, Black Knight Capital – the American consortium led by chairman Bill Foley – who bought Premier League football club Bournemouth in 2022.
