David “Jacko” Jackson has set a new world record after completing 81 consecutive ultramarathons, but the former Nottingham Rugby star still has 19 runs to go to complete his 100-day challenge.

Former Nottingham full-back David “Jacko” Jackson has broken the world record for the most consecutive ultramarathons run by a man.
Battling through one of the hottest summers on record, Jacko has completed at least 50km of running every single day for the past 81 days. That’s a combined total distance of more than 4000km!
Upon hitting his record-breaking 81st day at Bristol Bears, Jackson celebrated by pouring a can of Guinness over his head.
