JAPAN have made eight changes for today’s 13thplace semi-final against the USA as both sides chase a first victory of the Championship.
The Baby Blossoms and Junior All-Americans have met only once before at this level, with Japan claiming a commanding 44-8 victory in the inaugural tournament in 2008. That result condemned the USA to relegation to the Junior World Rugby Trophy, and the Americans are still searching for their first-ever win in the elite competition after 13 consecutive defeats.
