Marlie Packer admits she was overwhelmed by the affection shown to her during an emotional farewell week after signing off her Saracens career by helping the club win a record fourth PWR title.

The former England captain scored twice as Saracens crushed first-time finalists Trailfinders 52-14 at Twickenham Stoop to reclaim the trophy and end Gloucester-Hartpury’s dominance of the competition.
Packer, who leaves Saracens after nine years to join Harlequins, said the build-up to the final had been one she would never forget.
