THE Premiership semifinals and final, as well as England’s warm up game against France, again showed that Steve Borthwick is a very average selector, even in comparison to some outstanding club coaches like Northampton’s Phil Dowson and Sam Vesty, never mind outstanding international ones like South Africa boss Rassie Erasmus.
