Tommy Freeman among the stars nominated for major awards

Tommy Freeman has been nominated for both Prem rugby and England men’s player of the season awards.
The 25-year-old Northampton Saints flyer is on the shortlist for the England award alongside Leicester Tigers duo Ollie Chessum and Joe Heyes and Saracens’ Ben Earl.
Freeman has scored 17 tries in 16 games for Prem leaders Saints this season, plus three for England during the Six Nations.
He joins Leicester fly-half Billy Searle, Bath scrum-half Ben Spencer and Saracens No.8 Tom Willis on the Prem player of the season shortlist.
