Sharks snap up Roe from Chiefs

SALE Sharks have signed scrum-half Xavier Roe on a two-year deal from New Zealand side Chiefs.
Roe, 27, who is uncapped but featured for an All Blacks XV on a 2025 tour, said: “I’ve been at the Chiefs for a long time and I’m at a stage in my career where I want to try something new.”
Director of rugby Alex Sanderson said Roe, right, would “bring real quality” to the club.
