Ball game at an end

FORMER Wales lock Jake Ball will retire for a second time at the end of the season after injuries brought an early end to his Scarlets return. The 50-cap 34-year-old came out of retirement to rejoin Scarlets this season after a spell in Japan.
Scarlets have signed Leinster hooker John McKee as a replacement for departing Springbok Marnus van der Merwe. The 26-year-old, who is behind Dan Sheehan and Ronan Kelleher in the Leinster pecking order, will compete with Wales hooker Ryan Elias.
