Red Bulls tempt West to join from Saints

NEWCASTLE Red Bulls have signed former England U20s prop Tom West from Northampton on a one-year deal.
The 30-year-old loose-head will arrive at Newcastle this summer, having made 34 appearances during his two seasons with the Saints. West is a product of Wasps’ academy and played 78 times for them before spells at Leicester and Saracens.
West said: “I’m excited to be joining Newcastle Red Bulls for the coming season. It’s a place that I’ve always loved coming to play, with a storied history.
