Defeat adds to Hull’s growing fears

HULL failed to capitalise on a tremendous second-half revival to falter in the last few minutes and concede two converted tries to put them into further relegation trouble.
Losing seven of their own line-outs and a yellow card contributed to their downfall but they still had the winning of the game in their own hands when losing 22-19 with a penalty in front of the posts that they declined in favour of the kick to touch in the second half.
