Prop star Davison has knee surgery

NORTHAMPTON and England tight-head Trevor Davison is unlikely to play again this season because he needs surgery on a knee injury. The 33-year-old was hurt during last weekend’s 21-17 win at Saracens and had surgery on Thursday.
It is yet another serious knee injury for Saints, who lost Robbie Smith, Sam Graham and Toby Thame to similar issues last season.
They also saw Edoardo Todaro sidelined for the remainder of this campaign in Feburary as he suffered a knee injury while on Italy duty.
