Hartpury walk off with crown

U18 Girls

HARTPURY were crowned winners of the U18 Girls Open Cup, a penalty clear of relative unknowns Gateshead College 17-14 in the final.
The Gloucestershire dynasty overpowered the strong Jumeirah school 34-7 in the first round and racked up up over 150 points to automatically qualify for the Cup groups.
Only 19 points conceded in the second round was the undefeated platform for a trophy-winning campaign, even with a test by Bishop Wordsworth’ 20-15 in their semi-final.
