Bears find welcome in the hillsides

THERE used to be a time when every clubhouse in England marvelled at the magnetic appeal of the Welsh club scene, never more so than when Cardiff filled the Arms Park to its 48,500 limit against Newport in February 1951. Nobody way back then could imagine that one day the boot would be on the other foot, that the Principality Stadium would rock to the sound of two English clubs, Bristol Bears on their Big Day Out against Harlequins.
