A STRONG first-half performance saw Rossendale clinch victory against Billingham in Rawtenstall.
The home side were clinical early on and opened the scoring in the eighth minute when George Stephens barged over. His try was converted by Finn Rogers.
Both sides were dealt a massive blow after that as two red cards were issued to Jack Wilkinson and Anthony Jackson for foul play.
Billingham had to respond and they did through Jamie Lane, who crashed over in the 18th minute.
